I put soem "unknown brand" ceramics on the front of my Jeep Cherokee. I didn't notice any braking performance change, but there is next to nothing for brake dust. Worth the extra $20.

I'll also put in a request for rustproof rotors.

I used the NAPA Ceramix pads on our van. The OE pads were a ceramic compound, NAPA had these listed as OE replacement. Low noise, little dust, I'll be using them on my other car when the time comes.

I've got the Mopar ceramic pads on my 300M, and just like the factory ceramic pads these are literally zero dust. I've got chrome wheels on my car and I never have to clean brake dust, and I'm running slotted and outside vented rotors.
