for the Hugi star ratchet hub is pretty pricey stuff. Turns out it's Dow Corning Molykote TP 42 'paste' a semi-synth grease with solid additives, developed for sliding beds in lathes, mill's, etc and to resist water washout of cutting lube.

Actually, on the DT Swiss jar it says "with 5% mineral oil additive" ????
Possibly something lost in the translation from German and perhaps this should read 5% MoS2 ??.
Anyway, PDS is here

Composititioner per the German language PDS:

- mineral oil
- synthetic oil
- lithium soap
- solid lubrication media
- stickiness improver

Neither MoS2 or any percentages are listed.

This may be of interest: The grease is good for 60 months in unopened containers. I guess it gets rancid? Ewwww!

Thanks for posting this.. I just rebuilt my Hugi 240 hubs over the weekend. I bought the expensive Hugi toolset because I figure I'll get my money back on eventually running 3 bikes w/ Hugi hubs. I was concerned about what I'd use once that small tube of grease was gone.
