GC is a Hoax

I found some quote/unquote green the other day M04 code I believe.

Here is a pic

Looks more like Brown GC to me.

Then I said some magic words
"entstehen grüne Elfe" and voila:

It really is some pretty ugly stuff under normal halogen house lights, it has a green tinge, mostly brownish as opposed to gold.

But when you hit it with the flash - it is definitely green.

I guessed that something in the oil only reflects the green spectrum 180 degrees (i.e. back in the direction of the light source) as opposed to something that is green when u shine light through it.

So I tested that "theory"

same light source used (not a flash) coming from the back, then front. Actually the closer you get to 180 degrees, the "greener" it gets.

Interesting. But wait until you see this.

I said the magic words 3 times really fast and this happened

Maybe we should call it Multichromatic Castrol

Okay...Okay...the truth is out. Green GC is actually a mixture of cheap dino reprocessed oil with SLIME tire sealer to give it color! Doesn't lube worth a #@$%! but sure stops those leaks!

intereseting, it really isn't green (at least from most viewpoints). It is green when you shine the light a certain way. Maybe I should do the same thing with the "Gold" GC.
