I just spent the last week of my life learning about diesel fuel additives by placing the EPA compliance labels on any fuel additives at AZ that specify use in diesel fuel. Thought you guys might like to know which products comply with the new low sulphur diesel and which do NOT. Here's the rundown.
DOES NOT COMPLY with 2007-up diesel engines in cars/trucks:
Chevron Techron concentrate
Seafoam
STP Diesel Fuel Treatment
Marvel Mystery Oil (when used in the fuel tank)
Pennzoil Marine Fuel Cleaner
Gumout Regane
DOES COMPLY for use in 2007-up diesel cars and trucks
Lucas fuel treatment
RXP gas kicker
ZMAX fuel treatment
Redline Diesel Fuel Catalyst
Sta-Bil
ISO-Heet (fuel line antifreeze)
Delo complete diesel fuel cleaner (blue bottle, clearance)
Delo diesel injector cleaner (blue bottle, now on clearance)
Power Service Diesel (white bottle)
Power Service Diesel Kleen (gray bottle)
Pyroil starting fluid, regular and premium
I think that's all I was labeling.
