Mercedes-Benz MB 229.5 Spec

I have a new car requiring the Mercedes-Benz MB 229.5 Spec found only on M1 0-40. I have a bunch of GC in the garage.

Would the GC be good for this car even it does not list this spec?

Ive posted a breakdown of the 228.1,3,5 and 229.1,3,5 specs. I don't recall where on the board I did.

I wrote up a spreadsheet once documenting the differences, Ill see if I can find it.

The MB 229.5 spec allows for more wear than the 229.3 spec. If you do a search you may find this topic came up about a year ago. I think GC will be fine, but if you have a warrenty, you better stick with what it calls for just to be on the safe side.
