Price jump?!?

Well today I went over to auto zone to pick up some GC to do my oil change, and to my surprise the price of all Castrol oil along with various other oils went up significantly in price, 1 month ago GC was $4.69 near me, now it at a redicilous $5.29....thats almost close to the price of Amsoil

Oh well, i guess i'll have to wait until it goes onsale again

anyone else notice this increase?

Yes, we have noticed...just hope for the frequent Castrol sale.

Slightly cheaper here in S.E. PA...I paid $5.19/quart for some green elixer a few weeks ago.

This always works for me. When Checkers or NAPA are running a "sale" on Syntec ask the AZ guys if they will match that price. (Don't mention they don't sell GC.) They ALWAYS match the sale price of $3.99 at Checkers or $4.19 at NAPA at any of the three stores here. Good luck.
