GC = Aral

Just noticed that BP's website list Aral as "Reliability you can trust -
high quality lubricants made in Germany"

I don't know this to be true. I just thought that it's an interesting coincidence.

Interesting, The 0w-30 is A3 approved. I can't wait until the VOA for the 05 Batch is posted.

British Petroleum purchased Veba Oel, AG, the parent company of ARAL, back in 2002. This is the reason for the association on the web page.

I have never seen a ARAL oil the remotely resembled GC in looks or smell.

ive seen Aral oil that is green like GC. I pointed it out a few years back when GC first came out. Its possible.
