Les Schwab - Microbit studless snows

No opinion?

They are made by Toyo, work so-so - back several years ago the ads said they contained ground walnut shells in the rubber formulation. (I don't know if this was just PNW eco-lore or not) They are directional.

Anyhow - I had one fail. A couple years old. Tread started to separate and had a baseball size tumor where the sidewall meets the tread. This happened during summer storage! Thank goodness I noticed the problem when moving the tires to the garage for the winter season (not when I absolutely needed them).

Anyhow Schwab gave me a new one, and gave me decent credit on a second one - FWD Volvo and I wanted a matched set. The same ones remained for the rear and look OK. They said the would send the failed one for analysis.
