How do I check if my suspension is Aligned

Im about to put a set of quite costly winter tires on my car, are there tools that allow me to check if my suspension is straight? Right cast and camber etc... ir does it require sophisticated shop equipment?

to do it with any accuracy it takes specialized equipment, like a shop has. it's difficult to do it at home without the professional equipment.

using string can get you close, but you want to use a shop that can align it for you with computerised equipment. call around and see if anyone in your area offers an alignment with a warrenty, i know Sears is pretty good at alignments, they give you a printout and theres a 6 month 6k mile warrenty.

how are the tires wearing on the vehicle now. thats one way to tell how everything is aligned. also does teh car pull either way when you let go of the wheel. also when in doubt get it aligned. always took my vehicles to sears and never had a prob.

I'd call it good if your other tires are wearing evenly and the car doesn't pull. Otherwise, I'd take it in for an alignment.
