BFG voluntary recall on certain truck tires..

Just came across this on BFG's website, I thought I'd share this information on a voluntary recall on certain tires. I also posted this on a other site.

"All of the recalled tires were produced in week 15 and 16 this year (April 11-24, 2004) at the Ft. Wayne facility and include BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Liberator, Medalist, Phantom and Prospector brands in the following dimensions: "

Uhhh...

Only certain sizes, and a handfull of off-brands are being recalled due to a error in QC checking in one plant for 2 weeks....

This automatically means Michelin = junk?

At least they have the brass to do a voluntary recall, where as most other mfg'ers just let them go and hope for the best...I get to see this on a daily basis...

If anything it makes them a better company, not worse.

(This is if I'm reading into your reply, which also leads me to believe that you didn't read the article.)
