An absolutely breathtaking recently refurbished/built track. (Within last 4 years). The surface is beautifully maintained asphalt, with no concrete patches, and ALOT of runoff. Its very open, with lots of room. Fugi, Bill, Tireswap, and I just attended the Audi Club event held there.

We ran the full course, which is 3.27 miles long. Outlined in the map in orange. Starting point was the north padlock area, going to turn 1.

It was a fantastic time, and I learned a rediculous amount in 2 days (8 track sessions with an instructor for 25-30 minutes) that has now given me an addiction that will most likely never cease.

When you startout the first time ever...your basically terrified. You see tracks going off the track all over the place. Your pushing the car at speeds that will result in terrible damage and/or injury if you screw up. And at the same time your excited. Its an odd feeling. Once you get going through, you start wearing the biggest smile ever on your face, and just want to figure out how to go faster and faster and faster.

Here's some photos at various points on the track/area. Special thanks to Necessity for the awesome photos!

This is the front paddock area. Where everyone puts their stuff/cars, adjusts pressure, changes out tires/fluids, turbos, etc.

Here's Tireswap chasing a Porsche GT in the front straight.

Myself taking a poor line at turn 3 (nascar bend) I blame the red porsche.

Lastly an image of myself attempting to drive.

Here's a short video of the GT passing by at over 165 mph.

Man, that looks like a lot of fun. I bet your 6 could give many a sports car a run for their money on a road course. Oh, that Porsche GT:
