Looks like a dyno happy oil. It looks thin and also has a low flash point.
They qualify with 5wt oils and run 20wt/30wt through the entire race. The Rusty Wallace interview covered that.quote:

Read the FAQs on this oil. According to Joe Gibbs Racing they use this oil to qualify and race. Maybe that is what Rusty Wallace does, but evidently this is not what the Gibbs car do.quote:

Yes, but one of his other cars led the most laps but got snookered at the end, to not win but should have. I guess that averages things out.quote:

They must figure there is more money to be made selling oil than accepting sponsorship from somebody? I'm sure a team as successful as JGR could command a solid deal from one of the big name oil cos.quote:
