I've cross posted this from the hydraulics forum.......

I'm after feed back on what results people have had with different brands of high quality damper/shock oils. What I'm looking at doing is see if I can get some twin tube Koni's to hang in there compared to a mono-tube damper. I know I'm up against it in terms of rate of heat rejection, and I'm still logging the shocks to see what temps. I can expect, but if anyone else has done this, please chime in.

Which oils tend to 'fade' less at elevated temps. ?
Has anyone bothered to log temps at all, particularly on a dyno and compared to the force/velocity curve ?

Just for the record, I've aways used Silkolene Pro RSF fluids, but if Motul or Maxima stay 'in grade' better at high temps, I'd like to know.

Rick.

Kinda late but anyway
I have some ULTR high VI (525) shock oils that have been dynoed at varying temps/force email me for info
