PB Blaster did the trick. I've tried for three years, soak and bang...no luck.

Tire has a slow leak, so I just air it and go usually. I want to patch the thing....

You've been going at it for three years? You should take a shower, eat something, get a haircut and a mani and pedicure, and you should check on the wife and kids.

I bet your neighbour had a good laugh with the tire guys when having his tires serviced while still attached to the tiller.

Atleast a tiller only gets used a couple of hours a year.

Cheers, Steve

Although more studies might need to be done, maybe, just maybe, a fingertip of anti-seize will reduce the time it takes to get the wheel off next time :^)

It's not like I was at it continually. I should have said...about once a year - I get the tiller out, try to get the wheel off, say SCREW IT, air it up, till and put the bastartd away.

This year I really went to town on it and got it off. Yes, it's lubed and antiseized.
