Keep trucking down the road. Good looking analysis, except the "Cummins" part. Just kidding

SS i didn,t get the tbn tested. I think it was an extra 10$. Maybe next time after 12k miles.

Go Hogs, In early 03 i made an offer on a new 6.0 ford. They were the first ones the dealer got and he didn,t take my offer. (thank god) This is my first dodge and i like it.

Hopefully you didn't change drain this fluid???

Based on these results, I'd run it out to 20k before testing again and simply change the FF filter at this point. The FP of 435F would indicate almost NO fuel dilution and soot concentration of 0.4% is well within acceptable limits for D1 in a Cummins.

I'd expect the TBN of this sample was probably in the 8-10 range; using the ASTM D-4739 test protocol. I'd use a very conservative lower limit of 4.0 on the TBN....
