Hey guys, here is my second analysis. This is 10,000 miles on Mobil 1 Truck & Suv. After sampling, I changed the full flow filter and left the oil in. I'm running an Amsoil dual remote bypass setup. I think the numbers look pretty good, what do you guys think?

Possibly you are comparing one of the top rated oils, Delvac I to one of the top rated semi-synthetic oils run in a Powerstroke. Both the Cummins and the Powerstroke did very well with the oils used. Go here for comparison:

Good report Lightman...wonder how well the $12/gallon Rotella T 5w-40 would do?

Isn't the OCI on the new common-rail engine 15,000 miles?

Thanks Jelly, I dunno. Considering the D1 is $19, the $7 really never meant much to me considering I will probably only drain the oil every 40k.. I've used d1 since 2001 and have always had great results, so I haven't experimented too much with other oils. Love that d1!

The OCI is 7500/15000 severe/light duty schedules. I fall somewhere in between the two. The report above is for 10k, and I did leave the oil in, just changed the full flow. We'll see what it looks like at 20k

Yeah, but you're running a bypass system, so 15k will be no problem.

Forgot about the T&S...have only seen it at one Wally-World so far.

As you know, the 10,000 analysis looks great, so feel free to go further!
