Received my new report today. Decided to try the Delvac super 15w40 after the XD-3 0w40 sheared badly in the first sample. Truck is used mostly for hauling at work, a lot of stop and go, idling. The Delvac did not shear nearly as bad, although the fuel contamination is much less, still trying to get the exact number from the lab.
13750 miles on the truck at sample time.

Sorry not sure how to align these numbers..

Personally I'm pretty satisfied with the numbers, the engine is still breaking in, and I drive in a lot of dusty areas(construction sites) hence the high silicon.. but that's probably still some from the engine components.
Otherwise no complaints from the engine, it runs well and strong, only the EGR valve crapped out last week, had it changed yesterda, runs like a champ. Awesome engine when it runs well.

The XD-3 was put in at 3800 miles (first oil change) and taken out 5,000 miles later. That report is about 8 threads down from this one.
Currently I'm running Castrol RX 15w40, was going to stick with Delvac but couldn't (long story) and my next oil will be the XD-3 0w30 for the winter.
