7400 miles on oil, 23k miles on engine... shooting for 15k OCI. Changing my Frantz TP element every 2.5-3k miles. Oil looks/feels clean and wear appears to be very low.

How much total oil including makeup oil do you expect to use during the 15k interval?

The truth is you could make it to 20k with just a high quality filter change at 10k and keeping it topped off.

You can easily do 10,000 mile changes with regular cummins/fleetguard stratapore filters, probably 15k depending on your driving habits. I find it funny that someone is just trying to reach the factory recommended oil drain interval with a bypass system.

. I know what you meant because I'm using the Stratapores, but someone reading you post might misinterpret what you said to mean the standard Fleetguard filters. The Stratapores are Fleetguard filters with Fleetguards synthetic filtration media.

XS, you are correct, the stratapores are the better of the two fleetguard filters , however one could easily do 10,000 miles on the standard fleeguard filter as well. These trucks are really easy on oil due to their clean burning and huge sumps.. At least the 03-04's are, the new 04.5+ '600' engines are quite a bit dirtier.
