What kind of car would you use to teach stick?

I learned on a Ford Ranger. Had troubles at first but after about 15 minutes of driving around i got it down perfect. Overall i would say they are pretty easy to learn on.

I tried teaching my cousin to drive a standard but finally gave up. She now drives an automatic.

i learned how in a 90ish f350 powerstroke diesel.i caught on pretty quick.the second stick i drove was a single axle dumptruck with a 5 speed tranny and 2 speed rear.man i dont miss pushin in the clutch on that thing
