Tell me what you guys think. A friend of mine ownes a 1960 Peterbilt with a SC 350 Cummins. The truck was used in a couple of movies, videos etc.
It mostly sits although it is ocasionally driven across town to car shows. Truck probly doesn't see 100 miles a year.
Back in the early 90's the original 262 Cummins engine blew up during the filming of a music video and in the haste to get it running the 350 Cummins was installed. There is no oil filter on the truck!
No filter on the block and the Luberfiner is not hooked up
BTW: I've been after him to do something about the lack of any filter.
The thing is in need of an oil change. Would ST 15w-40 be acceptable since the truck is rarely driven and the trailer is always empty, Weighs 31k.
