LS1 fbody air filters....AC - Baldwin - Wix

I just replaced a Baldwin PA2178 with a Wix 46144 and I decided to count the number of pleats. I also have my original AC A917C to compare it to.

In case anyway cares, this is the result:

Stock AC A917C: 109 pleats
Baldwin PA2178: 138 pleats
Wix 46144: 144 pleats

I really am impressed with the build quality of the Wix filter and hopefully it filters as well as it looks like it will

I just put an Amsoil (Donaldson, really) EaA83 in my '00 Z28. If this was not available, or if it does not perform as promised, I would go with the Wix.
