Ran my old 89 Beretta with Castrol Euro 0w40. Good stuff, leaked as it did always

Mobil 1 5W30 High Mileage (synthetic and has high mileage additives) formula is what i would do.

I have no hesitation in switching anything over to synthetic regardless of mileage and age.

I changed a 30 year old Kubota to synthetic after it saw dealer 15w40 it's whole life. My father and I run synthetic in his 1971 240z as well.. Zero issues thus far.

If you find leaks starting, just fix them.

This or their 10w30 HM would be my choice as well. The 10w30 is an A3/B3 and is a bit more stout.
