Oil Filter Cross Reference for Briggs

I went to the tractor dealer to get a couple of
oil filters for my Toro riding lawn tractor model
38 XL it has a 16hp Briggs single cylinder over head valve power plus engine built for Toro. The
Briggs filter # is 492932S The dealer wants $11.00 a piece for these filters. I am sure there very good but i can't see that kind of money for such a small filter. I went to Advance Auto nad had them cross ref it to a Purolator Pure One PL10241.Slightly longer but I believe it is just as good of a filter and only $5.99

If you have room, you can use one of the longer filters.

Apparently, the Briggs filter is made by Wix, who also makes NAPA gold and carQuest Premium filters.
