I just got a 2001 Yamaha 1200 xlt Waverunner with a 2 stroke engine. On the hull next to the oil add cap it says to use Yamah 2-w oil only. I was wondering what other oil I could or should use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
They recommend 2-W only because this only contains no phosphorous and the ski has a catalytic converter. If you replace the converter with D plate you can run other oils.
