78.1 SUS is roughly 15 cst at 100c. So it's in the upper middle 40wt range.
 
is there a good conversion formula so that I don't have to ask or guestimate every time (not that it really matters anyway), or is it just oo much effort.
 
Thanks for posting! Answers my dilemna. I was was at Walmart and the jugs (5qt) were SJ rated (why do they still have this stuff?). The quart bottles were SL! So I bought them. Then panicked and returned them for some Pennzoil LL for this weekend's change.
 
Thanks to Thomas for doing all the leg work in putting this all together.

Kind of a weak add pack, but more than likely very safe for a 4-5K drain.
 
I am assuming this is their "diesel" oil?

Edit: Now I see it says it was "gas" oil.

No, it is mixed fleet. Dual rated both gas SJ and diesel CH-4.
