Got new bikes.

I've been away from off-road motorcycles for a few years, but I just got a new Yamaha TTR-250 for me and a 125 for the wife. I bought a gallon of spectro4 dino oil for the first changes but plan on running amsoil 10w40 after break-in. Any other air cooled thumpers out there?

I like that TTR. Good bike. Electric Start is nice. I was thinking about getting a used 225 to take camping. Something everyone can ride. Congrats, Yamaha makes a nice bike.

Those play bikes are very robust and will give you and the wife many years of good service.

If it were me, I would stock up on Exxon/Mobil 10w-40. Change it out after every outing and your engines will last and last, and you won't brake the bank keeping clean fluid in them.
(don't forget to clean your air filters after each ride too)
