I've really hesitated in posting this here.....but after seeing MSparks post I thought i might as well.
Two weeks ago when I was doing the Motorcycle show I had the editor of RidersMag http://www.theridersmag.com/
Alex Macrae come up to me and told me this story.
He and his wife went to Washington DC for a little holliday and to also watch the Toronto Maple Leafs play the Capitals. Anyways he said during a brealk between periods he went outside to have a smoke. He said there were a bunch of Cops there with their HD motorcycles and also the secret service escorting the VP for the game.
He startedtalking to the cops about how he hates his twin cam 88 because it runs so hot. He then said....you know what they told me.....I said I had no idea.......the cops said.....change your oil over to AMSOIL and your heating problems will be less prominant. They told him all the cops riding the HD police bikes and their own personal bikes run AMSOIL. They even told him that the Secret Service run AMSOIL in all the Secret Service vehicles.
It kinda blew me away when he was telling me this. I did know that the SecretService has AMSOIL installed in all their vehicles, but didn't know about the HD Cop bikes.
I was also told at the show that the city of Toronto uses AMSOIL in the cops HD Police bikes. It's right on their web site.
Kinda made my day!!!
