I think you are confusing heat transfer with thermal degradation. The POE in Redlines oil has high stability in heat and therefore very resistant to breakdowb. I doubt it's heat carrying capacity is significantly different from other oil types. BTW, believe it or not, using thinner viscosities of oil usually cause lower oil temps because the thinner oil tends to return to the sump quicker instead of staying on the hot metal surfaces longer.
