Need advice on OCI

I put Rotella T syn in my bike, Suzuki VL1500 last fall, Sept. or Oct. can't remember. Have about 1500 miles on the oil, didn't ride much this winter. Ya think it's ok to leave it for another 1500 or change it out? I'm thinking of some Mobil truck & suv 5w40 for the next change. But I don't want to waste the oil.

I'd leave the oil for another 1500 miles. Like you I see know reason to waste good oil. 3000 miles is a cake walk for the Rotella T.

I'd spend the $6 on new oil.

Personally I would change it. Used oil builds up corrosive properties when it sits in a motor for too long. How much is an oil change gonna cost, vs. how much is a new engine gonna cost? Better safe than sorry.
