1997 Honda Valkyrie

I'm thinking about switching to a full synthetic oil such as amsoil but everyone I know use Mobil1. Are there any Valk ownwers using amsoil?

here is my oil analysis. low miles but amsoil says change after 1 yr lab said still good to use. I am still running the oil.

Hmmmm... Just acquired a 2001 Valkyrie Interstate with 2.4K on her: I did a oil change only with the Valvoline 10W-40, MC-specific product (JASO MA) until the 4K, normal oil change interval.

I will then change to AMSOIL AMO 10W-40 as I have been using this in my '93 ZX-11 with great satisfaction. Really made an immediate & positive difference in the shifting the 1st time I tried it

! I leave it in this bike for 3K as it is run a little harder than the Valkyrie will probably be...

p.s. These are, incidentally, the ONLY vehicles in which I currently use 100% Synthetic motor oils.
