Oil for a Honda vt700 v-twin?

What do you experts reccomend for 1986 VT700?

I had a 1985? VT500 and I'm pretty sure it called for 10W40 oil.

I would use Rotella 15W40 or thier synthetic 5W40 in it.

Thanks for the help. I know the Rotella syn has no friction modifier, do you happen to know if the regular does? Or even if its relevant?

Neither the Dino or the Syn has FM's so either would work for you.
