I'm a member of the VRCC and posted the below question to our board and 98Valk advised that I also post it here for your views.

Does anyone out there have experience with the subject oil. Living in Central Florida, it does get hot. Anything that can reduce the running temperature (20 - 50 degrees per their literature and testimonials) of the Lady (Honda Valkyrie) would be great! If long term use doesn't damage the clutch (ie. slippage)or the engine (ie. increased oil pressure). This oil is for 4 Stroke engines and they say it will work for all. Please include any thoughts on air verses liquid cooled engines and heat, friction and oil pressure.

The VRCC board is the best for any and all information concerning the Valkyrie. I've personally done the I/S tank exchange, I/S Shocks, I/S Springs and a De-Smog.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum .

Man that stuff is a wide spread 20w-60wt . Is that what you need ?

If I were to spend 30 bucks a gallon on oil , the container would say Maxima on it .
