I got a free oil analysis kit from Blackstone Labs and I want to have a UOA on my bike. It is a 2004 Kawasaki EX500D - an inline twin... it's carbureted and is really exactly 498cc's.
I'm using Motul Synthetic Blend 15w-50 right now and I don't want to run it for too long without knowing how good it is in protecting my engine and transmission. When should I send in the oil analysis?
The bike currently has about 4,500 miles on it right now.
