Newbie with age old question

Question--should I use Mobil 1 in my Kaw 360 air cooled single cylinder?? It is an automatic belt drive and no wet clutches. Will I notice any performance increase?? Will I notice it running any cooler?? Would I be at any advantage at all with syn?? I change oil quite frequently(about 50 hours) What weight mobil 1??? Manual calls for 10w 40 dino. Your input will be greatly appreciated and I am looking forward to this forum

I would use Mobil 1 0W40 or Amsoil 0W40. I have used the Amsoil in my Polaris which is the same basic type of engine as you have with good results. It starts good in below zero weather and runs quiet in the hot summer.
