For the experts here, I have a couple bottles of MX2T 2 stroke motorcycle oil. As I have no motorcycle, would it be ok to run in a snowblower when it gets down to 20 below zero? If so, at what mix rate. The snowblower is probably 16 years old.

Thanks,

Hapuna

You probably cannot go wrong with a mix of 32 to 1. MX2t is just fine for cold weather applications. However there are some older snowblowers that require very large oil quantities (20 to 1 or 16 to 1) so, make sure to follow the requirements of your unit.

2 cycle snow blowers?

What brand is that?

I have owned Ariens since 1972 except for 3 yrs I made the mistake of buying 10 hp John Deere. It was nothing but trouble and when it came time to get rid of it, it had not resale value. I have a 1999 Ariens 36' cut with 13hp professional model. Gets the job done with ease.
