Saw a Indestro 1/2" ratchet, thought it was a Snap-On, but it didn't have a smooth handle, instead it had a knurled grip!

These tools seem well built, lots of extra metal and machining.

I have several that I've purchased at auctions. Good quality, and when bid on and get a toolbox full of tools, if there are Indestro tools in it I always keep them. Most are probably from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. I don't think there is any connection between Indestro and Snap-On.

They were nice tools that had profiles and finishes more common to Euro tools than most US made.
I started with these and Kraeuter (another very good USA brand) ratchets and sockets years ago along with some Craftsman, the Kraeuter was my favorite.
