Howdy all! I had a MOPAR MO-090 filter donated to me awhile back ago and finally broke out the tin snips to cut it open since I don't want to use this filter.

Also please excuse the cutting job as this was my first ever try. THANKS!

I counted a total of 49 pleats excluding the seam. The filter media seemed to be very strong. The nitrile adbv was very squishy and was easily bendable. Didn't seem very firm. It might have been because I had the filter sitting in my jeep for the past few weeks during these 90*F days? IDK

Top of the baseplate (sorry cut a hole with the tin snips on the very top):

Under side of the base plate:

Filter media:

Lastly the code on the bottom of the filter

Nah ... he says "DENSO" in every thread.

I thought Purolator made MOPARS? Not familiar with Denso, do they make their own or are they Puro made as well?

Ha! Good one!

Does anyone know how to decipher the date code on Mopar filters like the MO-090 here? I use MO-899 in winters.
