I have my appointment with my FSDO to get my tickets on Wednesday. Already have a self-study book and guided computer program.

Anything I should know going into this?

Setting up mags on a 4360? We had one of those monsters on a test stand but everyone was terrified of starting it.Starting the 2800 was iffy too. Piece of cake for you sir.

Those Pratt & Whitney engines are MONSTERS. The biggest thing I've messed with from them is the humble PT6.

Most of my engine experience is with GE, Honeywell, and Klimov.

I'm going through the IA study guides right now and it's all fairly familiar, just need to brush up on my CFRs and weight and balance calculations.

I have held my A&P for 4 years, and have 10 years total in aviation, just looking to add my Inspection Authorization.

So the test came and went without drama, and it ended with a 12% raise.

Feeling pretty good.

Thanks to everyone that commented!

Honestly no. I used the Gleim online training as a refresher and it had me well prepared for the test. I was testing at 94-96% on the practice tests, and scored a 94% on the actual.

That's an accomplishment in itself.

Congrats on the IA.

Ha! My FSDO is pretty good, at least the ASI I usually work with is!

Thanks!
