Planes are neat to watch. I get sick on them as the elevation plays havoc on my sinus so I just keep my feet on the ground. Anywhere I need to go is only a car or ferry away. Sure hope Greenland and Iceland dont get NHl teams;then I will have to rethink the travel.

What keeps me from flying more is the seating. The seat in my Transit work van is way more roomy and comfortable

AirCal was a great airline in it's day. 20 minute flight from LAX to SNA they flight attendant would hand out cups then walk by with a gallon jug of cheap California wine and ask who wanted some!

American is painting a lot of Jets in retro to honor old airlines. It's a cool idea! Nothing like walking through the airport and seeing a TWA plane.
