Directional tire on axle with non directional

had to order one new tire and in error got a directional. Installer refused to mount it stating the other side is non directional. I say as long as tread design is close it makes no difference as long as in the future one adheres to the directional issue when rotating.

Make 'em mount it, take in a loose rim if you have to.

You might get a slight pull if the other side's tire is meant to fight it. They don't engineer in much, though.

That is considered unsafe and that is why some places won't mount it. Ed
