My problem is that when I take off from sitting still at a stop light for a few minutes it stalls. It starts right up and idles, runs and shifts great. No codes except p0141 which it had for over a year. It stutters and dies but starts right back up. It is very intermittent. Any ideas?

I recall this car, and you, having quite the history. Blown head gaskets etc.

Does it stall out with a cold engine too? I would address that o2 sensor code and go from there.

I think that was some sort of Chrysler that was used to tow the Civic.

It is hard to say when it stalls because it is random and not conssistant or reproducable.

But it stalls when I press the gas to take off from idling. It idles great.

once upon a time, i had similar behavior in my Sonata.(not intimating that this is your problem, just sharing my experience with similar symptoms) it had a randomly failing coil pack. and for that engine, 1 failed coil would affect 2 cyl(1/2 the engine) it was COP, but the packs were on 1&3, with jumper/slave wires for 2&4.

replaced both, problem went away.
