However, the full synthetic Castrol Edge High Mileage 5W30 (SN, GF-5, dexos1, A1/B1) has a KV100 of 11.3 cSt (no HTHS listed).

According to
this web page, M1 5W30 (SN, GF-5, dexos1, A1/B1) has a kV40 of 61.7 cSt, a KV100 of 11.0 cSt, and a HTHS os 3.1 cP.
So the Kendall GT-1 is thicker with a KV100 = 11.1 cSt and a KV40 = 63 cSt, but they both have the same HTHS of 3.1 cP. To my mind this makes the M1 "better" with a lower VII load.
The Edge HM 5W30 has KV40 = 67.2 and KV100 = 11.3, it doesn't list HTHS, but I would be surprised if it wasn't at least 3.1 cP and maybe 3.2cP
M1 HM 5W30 (SL, A1/B1) isn't dexos, but it's a high zinc, high quality synthetic with KV40 = 69.2 cSt, KV100 = 11.7 cSt and HTHS = 3.3 cP (
M1 HM Web Page) )
All good stuff, but the Edge HM 5W30 has caught my eye.
