Rotella has Jaso MA on the back of the jug and cost about the same - easy answer for me. Skip the Delo and get the Rotella or Valvoline Motorcycle oil at Wal-Mart for $4/qrt.
Very few HDEOs bother with MA certification. Look instead for wet clutch and brake application approvals or "suitable for", such as Cat TO-2 and Allison C-4.
No clutch slippage at all with Delo, Delvac, Rotella or any of the HDEOs I have tried.
For the record, Rotella does NOT have the jaso-ma certification. It merely meets the "performance requirements" of Jaso-ma, it is not an actual certified oil.
Thanks Broc; I was just about to post this video on wet brakes from Cat. YouTube videos easy to post, instead for a better play list, search "wet brake video".
Wet brakes 'n clutches in automatic transmissions operate on the same principal. On motorcycles, the operator engages and disengages the clutch.
