Coat battery terminals with something or leave dry

I use nothing, a battery that isn't leaking shouldn't need anything. Why don't the GM side terminals have this issue?

This stuff works great on electronics. It powers through corrosion and leaves an invisible coating that lasts a very very long time. I use it on every electrical connection in my vehicles and have zero issues. My car is near 50 years old and its electrical system is incredibly reliable (crusty old wires notwithstanding) huehuehue

I've had good luck with dielectric grease. I re-apply it every few years if it needs it.

I've been using NAPA brand spray on protectant (made specifically for battery terminals and connectors). It's sticky at first but quickly dries on and does a nice job. I've been using it for years.
