Assuming reasonable oci (5000 mi on conventional to 10,000 mi on a premium synthetic) and pretty much any rockcatcher (filter) an LS can last a long time.

I've seen 500,000 mile Trucks on VWB and Fram and 600,000 mile Corvettes on Mobil 1 and ACD.

Noticed an oil change sticker on the window and called the place listed on it. They said they put 5w30 regular in it so I assume that means conventional. Definitely gonna step up to full synthetic and if it starts to consume any I'll go to HM. It's 500 miles before the sticker says to change it, and the level is perfect so

I have a 2002 Z71 5.3 engine. I have used Mobil one ext life Syn. 10W 30W for 102,000 miles I just switched this year to 5W 30W and can't tell the difference. Truck has oil changed on regular bases. I would go with Mobil 1 Syn 10W 30W if is drinking the 5W 30 W.
