looking for a long lasting coating for tires and rubber bumpers on several volvo 240's. Car pro pearl coating is $80 5 litre, can be diluted, lasts perhaps? 3 months maybe. same outfit has meguires 2 types 1 gal. $30 or $40 coatings, don't seem to be rated as long. Thoughts? Would like long lasting black effect. Experiences from anyone? Thanks!

Tire dressings seem to collect dirt/dust from my dirt road. I avoid them.
love it , 2 coats @ 1:1 dilutions looks awesome and lasts. Use it for my interior, exterior and tires. Has no cleaning properties but love the feel and look after use.

I use PERL full strength and on garaged vehicles, 2 weeks of service life is common. The key to longevity is proper prep - i always scrub the tires with a strong degreaser (Meguiars D108 diluted 3:1) at each car wash prior to applying PERL. Without proper prep, the service life is probably much less.
