Harley following in Europe

In Germany, Harley is doing very well. In 2014 they where at place Nr. 3 in the Market.

This year they are at Place Nr. 5 IIRC. And of course, they are very expensive here.

However, they have a lot of fans here. Especially here in Munich, because Munich is one (the) of the wealthyest towns of Germany, the people her have the money and Harley is "Kultig" (Means "Iconic"). Most riders are the "Dentist-Lawyer best Ager" type of Guys.

And of corse the occasional Bandido and Hells Angel.

Personaly, i think a Harely dont fit german (mountain) roads well, but "Live and let (others also) live" as we say in Bavaria.

A friend of mine just have bought his first Harly, a sportster. I helped with the first oil change.
Funny things, these "wacker plates" as we call em here.

^ I couldn't resist going on Wikipedia and doing a search for 'wacker plates'. I can now see why Harleys are called 'wacker plates' in Germany...LOL!
