That information doesn't sound right according to what I know. Last I checked the UPF filters were microglass and the Mobil 1 was a proprietary blended media.

A/C Delco filters are really cheap, I personally wouldn't use either since I don't know who makes Valvoline filters. If you're racing it you want a stouter filter with a thicker can. I doubt those chintzy A/C Delco filters will hold up to that kind of abuse. Royal Purple makes a stout racing filter, I'd look into something like that myself.


I am pretty sure Fram is making the Valvoline filters now. I can ask my Valvoline quick change customers Tuesday if need be but I am pretty sure Fram makes them.
