In many cases the ACdelco part is a Raybestos part with a different name on it.
ACdelco Advantage and Raybestos "service grade" are the discount parts that might not be all that durable
ACDelco Pro and Raybestos Pro are great.

The part that I installed was an ACDELCO 45D3464 {#19264307} Professional. Looks can be deceiving, but I was impressed by the build.

I ordered some upper and lower control arms for my kid's car from Rock Auto. The lower control arms I ordered were Moog Problem Solvers. When I get the parts, I noticed that the right lower control arm was a genuine "Problem Solver", but the left control arm was a TRW part. Thinking somebody had done a switcharoo on me, I got a hold of RockAuto and had them send me out another Problem Solver part and had them send me a return shipping label for the TRW part, all on their dime. I noticed the new part they sent me was also a TRW. (IMO, TRW is not a bad brand, it's just that the name has been discontinued for a few years and has usually been sold at a discounted price) I complained to them on their web site in their complaints section and didn't hear back from them. I called their 800 number to comment on the situation and they told me that the TRW brand has the same lifetime warranty as their Problem Solvers and that I should just live with it. In other words, we will sell you a part labeled as a Problem Solver, in reality we know it is not a Problem Solver, and we really don't care.
Since this isn't RockAuto's fault, I sent it back on my dime and installed an AC Delco lower control arm.

I had the same issue with MOOG before. I had an old Accord a few years back where the upper and lower ball joints needed replacing. My local guy had only MOOG instock for a decent price. The lower ball joints came in a MOOG branded box and were made in the USA, while the upper one came in a brown box that had a MOOG sticker on it . When I opened it up they were not MOOGs... and upon further inspection they had the Sankei555 stamped on the outer joint ring, and were made in JAPAN. Not really a loss but a gain as thats a decent part brand, but goes to show you can easily get anything. I sold the car a few months later so I never got to see what the quality of MOOG parts were like. I know the stabilizer links I looked at changing last month, the MOOGs were made in Mexico not USA.

The last tie rod ends I bought were for a VW and the BA part was made in Germany and appeared good quality.

Thanks I will shoot them over an email

(Just razzing ya, Eddie. Seriously, thanks for the input)

Yep, I've been around for awhile, and I've learned quite a bit about oil.

OEM replacements are not always the same quality as the original factory part. Sometimes, aftermarket is better quality, but you have to look for it.
