4 Stroke Lawn Mower Oil Additives

During the summer months I use either Rotella or DELO 15w40. Small air cooled engines in the summer heat run quite hot and have marginal cooling. For me, it's well worth the piece of mind running a 40-wt oil. My Z-turn has the Kawasaki FR691V engine, which also seems to love a 40-weight in the summer.

I use HDEO's in all my air cooled engines. Just hard to beat their add packs, durability, price point, and availability.

YMMV, but I use mine quite regularly in the lawn care industry. (Solo operator, 20-25 lawns per week)

I hear this a lot: Kawasaki love 40 weight oil. How is that? Why do you know that? Did your engine tell you that?

-Didn't you ever hear about the engine whisperers?

Unless it's olive oil...
